The Japanese American National Museum and The National Center for the Preservation of Democracy. Children were able to participate in a Japanese story time, an origami class, and a docent led tour of the museum.
For the teens, we have scheduled an opportunity for them to participate in an interactive exhibit called Fighting For Democracy at The National Center for the Preservation of Democracy. Fighting for Democracy is an experiential exhibition based on the lives, actions, and decisions of a diverse group of individuals who sought equal rights for their families and communities during World War II.
