Olinda Oil Museum Tour Field Trip

Today Celebration Education Families learned about the history of the booming oil industry with a visit and guided tour to The Olinda Oil Museum and Trail in Brea. The park features the original Olinda Oil Well Number One, a once used field office, a jackline pump and a records vault, Once the office and headquarters of the bustling Olinda oil operation, the Field House is now filled with artifacts, along with the original safe and warehouse where parts were once stored and organized. The Field House is the centerpiece of the 12-acre Olinda Oil Museum and Trail, a historic park that recapture the sights, sounds, smells, and the vital role Olinda played in the development of Brea. Afterwards, families are welcome to take a hike on the trail and eat lunch. http://www.ci.brea.ca.us/index.aspx?NID=438
