My daughter, mary is very excited to joining Celebration Education at Disneyland. We live in Redlands in a small house on the north side of town. We are very fortunate to be going to CE this fall.
About me: I was born with 1 hand and lost my left eye at age 3. This presented with a great yearn to meet physical fine motor challenges. People wonder how I do things with one hand, and you know what? I wonder how to do anything with two hands, lol, as I only know how to do anything with one. I have Associate degrees in Occupational Therapy and Fine Art, so natually, my career is homeschooling :) . I turned 50 years old this summer, so at times my mind is on being a 1/2 decade old, LOL. About Mary: Mary is 10 years old. She has several pets including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, mice, chickens & fish. She had birds but, they did not survive with cats in the house. She spends her days reading, writing stories and journaling, caring for her pets and whatever creativity comes to her mind. If you meet us, I hope that your children will warm up to Mary. She feels self-conscious around children with her disabilities. She has flare-ups of fibromyalgia. Her symptoms are increasing at a faster rate due her blood flow restriction cause by VSD and tachycardia. She uses her wheelchair more now unfortunately.
